Technical communication has experienced an explosion in theory and research. This site has been established as a central site to connect those who want to do research, those who want to fund research, and those who have the need for research results. It could pave the way for more and better research in our profession.

CVW is a collaboration software environment that provides a 'virtual building' where teams can communicate, collaborate, and share information, regardless of their geographic location. CVW takes virtual meetings one step further and enables virtual co-location through persistent virtual rooms, each incorporating people, information, and tools appropriate to a task, operation, or service.

Computer Supported Collaborative Work Bibliography
This is a gateway to the bibliographic database on CSCW and related topics which is maintained at the Applied Informatics and Distributed Systems Group at Technische Universität München. Information technology has enabled organizations to generate and retain mountains of information. Unfortunately, many organizations suffer from 'infoglut.' We would like to find ways that information technology can support business processes, but to do this we need to understand how and where information might be of use within organizations.

Technical Communicators’ Forum (TC-Forum)
The idea for TC-Forum evolved during Forum 95. Forum 95 was an international conference organized by the international umbrella organization INTECOM, the International Council for Technical Communication. Forum conferences take place every five years. The first one was held in Malmö, Sweden, in 1975, the last one in Germany in 1995.
The UML Forum is web community dedicated to the Unified Modeling Language (UML), the industry-standard visual modeling language for specifying software-intensive systems. Here you can find information related to UML specifications, UML tools, UML books, UML papers, and UML mailing lists.

The Visual Modeling Forum is a web community dedicated to visual modeling languages and tools.
