Our bimonthly newsletter provides pre- and post-event news of PCS activities along with short, practical articles, tutorials, and book reviews. The frequent publication provides quick turnaround and the opportunity to develop dialogs in letters to the editor. Examples of the regular features of the Newsletter include Message from the President, Tools of the Trade from Cheryl Reimold, and Net Notes from Beth Weise Moeller.
IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication 
The journal publishes five types of content: (1) research articles (representing the full range of workplace communication issues and all research methods), (2) interface articles (shorter pieces providing a 'translation' of theory and application to workplace communication practice), (3) tutorials (creative training/educational approaches), (4) commentary, and (5) book reviews. Users can search abstracts for research articles published from 1988 to date.
The Independent Perspective is published (online only) four times a year and is the official newsletter for the International Consulting and Independent Contractor Special Interest Group (CIC SIG) within the Society for Technical Communication.
This site is designed to give you an impression of the contents and dynamics of IDJ by providing abstracts, a selection of illustrations, and occasional additional sound and video clips. The site is updated with every issue (three times per year). Information Design Journal is an international refereed journal which provides a forum for theoretical and practice-oriented discussions concerning the effective, efficient and attractive presentation of information. JAC: The Journal of Advanced Composition 
JAC provides a forum for scholars interested in theoretical approaches to the study of rhetoric, writing, multiple literacies, and the politics of difference. As a forum for interdisciplinary inquiry, the journal features articles that explore intersections between rhetoric and composition theory and theoretical work in other fields of study. Also featured are articles on workplace literacies, computers and writing, literature and writing, cultural studies and critical literacy, graduate education, and scholarly writing and publication. Articles that address important professional issues in composition studies, English studies, and higher education are also appropriate. JAC publishes articles on pedagogical theory but does not accept articles describing classroom practices unless those practices illustrate a pedagogical or critical theory.

The Journal of Business Communication (JBC) publishes manuscripts that contribute to knowledge and theory of business communication as a distinct, multifaceted field approached through the administrative disciplines, the liberal arts, and the social sciences. Accordingly, JBC seeks manuscripts that address all areas of business communication including but not limited to business composition/technical writing, information systems, international business communication, management communication, and organizational and corporate communication. In addition, JBC welcomes submissions concerning the role of written, verbal, nonverbal and electronic communication in the creation, maintenance, and performance of profit and not for profit business.

In Kairos, we publish 'webtexts,' which are texts authored specifically for publication on the World Wide Web. These webtexts include scholarly examinations of large-scale issues related to special topics, individual and collaborative reviews of books and media, news and announcements of interest, interactive exchanges about previous Kairos publications, and extended interviews with leading scholars. With Kairos, we seek to push boundaries in academic publishing at the same time we strive to bridge the gap between print and digital publishing cultures.
