The&#xD;thrill of setting up these sites often begins at the&#xD;grassroots level within an organization but as&#xD;enthusiasm for these sites develops, management&#xD;support becomes a necessity. Several layers of&#xD;management within an organization must become&#xD;involved in order for these sites to be effective. A case&#xD;study at the Georgia Tech Research Institute illustrates&#xD;many of the difficulties encountered and&#xD;lessons learned from setting up and maintaining a&#xD;comprehensive website for the Electro-Optics,&#xD;Environment, and Materials Laboratory.</description>
