With a background as an&#xD;architect, graphic designer, and cartographer, and&#xD;experience in designing user guides for tourists and&#xD;redesigning the Yellow Pages, Wurman offers many&#xD;theories and insights that are applicable to our&#xD;profession. This paper summarizes some of his&#xD;ideas and suggests ways in which they apply to our&#xD;work.</description>
