Abstract:
Scientific communication differs from technical communication
in several ways. One is that scientific communicators work with ideas rather than with a product. They
present data and the inferences and conclusions drawn
from those data. The information or the idea is the
message. Scientific editors facilitate the transfer of knowledge
from authors to readers.
