Abstract:
How is designing computer software and hardware for kids different from designing for adults? At the time of this writing, little formal research has been done on this topic.
Most research done to date has focused on designing educational software, and
evaluation is primarily of learning outcomes, not usability. However, usability is a prerequisite for
learning.
